Tarte Exposed Blush Dupe ~ Mac Mocha

Friday, June 17, 2016
Hello everyone. It has been a busy last couple of weeks for me but I have just discovered 2 insanely popular blushes which happen to be dupes of each other.

Tarte Exposed £23 and Mac Mocha £18.50(£15 in refill pan)

This dusty-mauve-muted-rosy shade has been a massive trend for awhile now and with good reason. It gives a beautiful natural flush of color to the cheeks, very flattering for that "no-makeup makeup look".
Exposed is a tad, and I mean just a tad bit warmer, and Mocha is a tad bit cooler, so depending on which undertone you prefer, you have two wonderful options in these.
I am including pics below.

Both blushes are amazing quality so you can't go wrong with either choice, the Tarte blush is magnetic and pops out so you can fit it in a zpalette for easy traveling, but mac has a magnetic refill pan option as well which is a few pounds cheaper than the regular price.
I'm sure there are drugstore dupes of these shades as well, just keep a look out.

Enjoy your weekend.
:)

Nars Reckless Blush Dupe Alert

Friday, June 03, 2016
Models wearing "Nars Reckless" on cheeks

Nars Reckless- Sheer pink shimmer with cool undertones ~  (£23)

Makeup Geek Honeymoon- Light pink with silver flecks

The Nars Reckless blush has been a shade I have recently discovered over the last couple of months. I immediately was intrigued by it being so different to anything I had seen before, but when I went to the Nars counter to try it out, sadly I was not impressed. The color itself is stunning, it really is but it has a ton of  GLITTER.
Now, usually to some, glitter is never a bad thing, but to me, on my cheeks, it tends to enhance too many flaws. It also spreads everywhere.
The reason for this post is to say that I am pretty sure I have found the dupe of this (without the crazy amount of glitter) which is Makeup Geek Honeymoon blush. I won't be purchasing "Reckless", but if you are interested in a similar and more affordable blush, check the Makeup Geek Honeymoon (£7).

Enjoy your day/evening.

Thursday, June 02, 2016

Have you guys seen the new and reformulated Makeup Geek blushes?!?
They have just been launched as of yesterday (1st of June).
The blush compacts are available for $15 USD, equivalent to approx. £10 GBP.
The blush refill pans are available for $10 USD, equivalent to approx. £7 GBP.
Makeup Geek does ship to the UK, just be sure to calculate the shipping and customs fee.
I will be picking up a few of these as soon as they launch here in the UK on Beautybay.com. I use this site to purchase all my MG eyeshadows and blushes.
I am so excited for this launch as I already love Makeup Geek products for the great quality and value for money. I am so proud of Marlena, and her amazing team.
I strongly encourage you to go check them out, and I will be doing swatches and photos as soon as my little hands get ahold of them!
